Single Channel Video - short segment of a 13 minute video played on an infinite loop

The video shows a silver-thonged figure walking endlessly through an electric blue sky. She drags a morningstar with her through the clouds.  When making my drawings and sculptures, I will often animate these ideas in looped video works to act as ephemeral scrolls or surrealist documents. I am amused by notions of appropriate vs inappropriate nudity. Our art institutions are flanked with exposed europhile figures on pedestals, but strip clubs are cast into the dank undergrounds of taboo. This video shows a weapon-wielding, wedgie-picking stripper as the celestial divine archetype, walking infinitely onwards without rest.

This video piece that projects from the back of the sculptural work, The Girl Has Teeth and the Teeth Are Tired. Projected from a cartoon ghost rising through the spine of the figure like a humpback. Out of the ghost mouth a video shaped like a doorway/grave is played on an infinite loop.
