Gauche, marker, acrylic and tea on paper

Large scale gouache and tea drawing on paper. Two thickly adorned big boned femme guardians protect a dark horse with their big bone swords held at their pelves the colors of dreamsicles. The three of them stand watch at an entrance to chamomile covered foothills, the horizon disappearing into soft silver. They are each painted with various ingredients for sustenance and transition: sun, thunder, waking eyes, crying eyes, bat (pollinator with night vision), nightfall, roses, hamburgers, hearts, silver lines, number 9 (completion), spirals, gems (the other side of burial). Their bellies are full.
